$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install linklint 

linklint is installed in your system.

Make ensure the linklint package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linklint *

You will get with linklint package name, version, architecture and description in a table

linklint package basic information:
